Candidates from all four districts, as well as mayoral candidates, will join to discuss the issues of addiction and mental health in Portland. The Candidate Forum is hosted by the Mental Health Association of Portland, a 501 C 3 nonprofit organization which advocates on behalf of those with mental illness and addiction and the city, county, state, and federal levels.

Who: Family friendly BUT kiddos joining should be able to keep up on their own or could join via attached child seat or trailer. What: 7ish mile bike ride, so plan to ride for about 60min. We will have two pauses along the way, one to look at the Trees In the Curb Zone project, and another for water break. We will have snacks, conversation, and information and actions you can take for climate justice in Portland at the end at Laurelhurst park. When: Wednesday, 7/17/24, meet up at 5:45pm. Where: Lents Park to Laurelhurst park. PLEASE NOTE that this route is a one-way so you will need to plan a way home! Why: For a more equitable, beautiful, climate change resilient Portland for ALL!
